What I collect.
Last updated May 2026. Short version: almost nothing, and nothing I sell.
The short version
NodeRig is a static blog and a newsletter signup. I don't run user accounts. I don't track you across the web. I don't sell anything about you to anyone.
The longer version is below if you want the receipts.
What I do collect
Newsletter signups. When you submit your email on this site, it goes to Beehiiv, the platform that powers the NodeRig newsletter. Beehiiv stores your address, sends the welcome email, and sends each future issue. One-click unsubscribe lives in every issue. Beehiiv's own privacy policy covers what they do with subscriber data on their side; I only use it to send you the brief.
Server logs. Vercel hosts this site and keeps short-lived request logs that include IP addresses. Those exist for abuse prevention and rate limiting. They are not used for analytics. They are not joined to your identity.
Analytics, only if enabled. If Google Analytics 4 is configured for this site (it may not be), it sets cookies that count page views and referrer sources. No demographics. No personalised ad targeting. No Google Signals. If you want to opt out, a privacy extension like uBlock Origin blocks it cleanly.
What I don't collect
The list is short, and I want it to stay short.
- No tracking pixels on the newsletter.
- No selling email addresses to anyone, ever.
- No third-party ad networks or remarketing tags.
- No cookies beyond a theme preference and analytics, if it's enabled.
Affiliate links
Outbound product links on this site are usually affiliate links. When you click one and buy, the retailer pays me a small commission. Your price is the same either way. The retailer (not me) receives the click data. The full breakdown lives on the disclosure page.

Email me@noderighq.com and I'll respond within a few days. If you just want your newsletter address gone, the unsubscribe link in any issue does it instantly. No need to wait for me.
